RSB-75 Ammo introduced

Discoveries made while deploying a rapidly shifting force-field used in earlier Leonov-Prototypes led MMO scientists to the discovery of a type of laser-battery that allowed it to be fired in short succession and in very strong bursts. The first unstable version was the RSB-10 but itself was too unstable and was only usable with ships that had enough cargo capacities like a Goliath. The ammunition went through several development cycles and in the end the RSB-75 was the result. Still unstable but contained in a variant of the shifting fields used to give the Leonov its enormous power on the Home Maps, the RSB-75 can now be stored limitless and without side-effects as long as the shifting field is active. With every salvo of the RSB-75 the shifting field needs a few seconds to recharge back to full strength or else it would collapse and the collected amount of RSB-75 would detonate on the spot.

Soon after the RSB-75 has been tested on the battlefield the EIC and VRU were aware of this ammunition and also very quickly realized what this development could mean: As one container of RSB-75 can hold an unlimited amount of ammunition was agreed upon by all Companies that the containers are created in a fashion that the recharging of the shifting field can never be interrupted as this would be the ultimate weapon and would assure mutual destruction.
