Spaceships

After the war broke out, however, they were quickly used to conquer territory and reinforce the divide between the three companies. Space itself was divided into three sectors, after years of war each company claimed an equal portion; none willing to lose space to the others.

There is no end to human engineering, when humans first left Earth we were restricted to 10 vessels, each performing specific functions for the combined fleet. As time went on, resources grew short with the war being waged on several fronts. Those 10 ships still reign supreme in today's universe; for the front line ships new designs and new skills have been engineered to aid pilots. New ideas, and new blueprints, are drawn up consistently by fleet engineers and scientists, only the best make it through to production.

Alien Diversity

With every new sector came a new and dangerous alien, many different species work together to protect their space. At first there was very little knowledge about them, they ignored the human invaders and they ignored the strange new life forms. As the war progressed the aliens quickly turned hostile, maybe they did not like the idea of humans destroying the beauty of space, maybe they were planning it all along. The further into deep space we go: the bigger, stronger, and more powerful they get. It is just a speculation of what is really out there; only one thing is known for sure: some threats are still lurking in the dark outer reaches of space, waiting to strike!

Jump Gates - An Opening to Distant Space

Jump gates were developed by company scientists early on; they provide a means to travel vast distances between the stars. At first they provided a stable, efficient means to ferry supplies and personnel to different colonies.
